scenic outdoors! It doesn't get much better than that!
After you've spent a full day of snow skiing at Ski
Beech, or any of the many outdoor activities...come back

The Beech Mountain Club
As guests of Club Beech Cabin you
will also enjoy amenities of
The
Beech Mountain Club*, a
private club only minutes from your
doorstep! The Beech Mountain Club
is a private, non-profit corporation
located on beautiful Beech Mountain,
North Carolina, just a few miles
from
Banner Elk. Beech Mountain rises
5,506 feet above sea level, and this
elevation ensures cool summer
temperatures for over 1800 club
members. Membership is open to
owners of qualified
Beech Mountain property, and use
of club facilities is limited to
members and their guests. The club
serves a diverse membership with a
vast array of services. A Board of
Directors, elected by the
membership, governs the organization
through the General Manager/COO.

Golf
Course
- The club is blessed with an
18-hole golf course designed by
Willard Byrd stretching 6,099
yards over beautiful mountain
terrain. The golf season
typically runs from May through
October.

Clubhouse
- Perched on a rock overlooking
the 10th and 14th holes of the
golf course is a two-story
clubhouse facility appropriately
designed to accommodate members
and their guests desiring
diverse dining experiences.
Views from the clubhouse provide
splendid panoramic Blue Ridge
mountain scenes, and on a clear
day mountain peaks in Tennessee,
Virginia and West Virginia are
visible.

Fairway Cafe
- Outdoor open-air cafe located
between the nines adjacent to
the newly renovated putting
green. Convenient sandwich menu
served daily during the season.

Tennis
- The club provides ten Har-tru
composition clay courts for the
enjoyment of its members and
their guests.

Swimming
Pool
- A heated pool and wading pool
are available for use from
Memorial Day to Labor Day. The
pool is heated to 82 degrees for
the comfort of our members and
their guests.

Recreation Department
- The club has an outdoor
pavilion, an indoor activity
room, a bocce ball court, hiking
trails, activity vans,
recreation bus and various
kitchen facilities in addition
to the Clubhouse for use by
members and their guests.
Massage therapy and exercise
classes are offered year round.

Day Camp
- From mid June until mid
August, the club runs a day camp
for children ages 3-14 in a 1600
square foot building. In
addition to this building, there
are two open-air huts for day
campers to enjoy. Three days a
week Time for Tots program is
offered for ages 3 and 4.

Fitness
- The club has a new fitness
center with resistance and
cardiovascular equipment for
year round use by members and
their guests, open 24/7/365.

- In addition to golf, tennis,
swimming, dining, and day camp;
The Beech Mountain Club
schedules socials and events for
members and their guests
including bridge, nature
ventures, teen activities,
exercise classes, water
aerobics, craft classes, dances,
van trips, historic outings,
whitewater rafting, bingo and
much more!

Autumn on Beech Mountain:
Visitors come from all over to see what
nature brings to the high elevation of
Beech Mountain. Every color and hue
imaginable burst from Oak, Maple, Birch
and Beech trees to display views of the
Mountains that are unmatched.
Winter on Beech Mountain: Skiers,
snow boarders, and winter enthusiasts
come to take advantage of the 14 slopes
of Ski Beech and its outdoor skating
rink. An Alpine Village and the
community of Beech Mountain provide
folks with a total Winter vacation
experience of enjoyment and fond
memories.
